HOW JESUS CHANGED THE WORLD Jesus taught us to care about the sick and the poor. Before Jesus, almost no one cared about these poor people, they were considered cursed and left to suffer own their own. Then Jesus came and teaches His followers to help and care about the sick and poor, and He sets the example for them. With the early Christians, caring for the sick and the poor became like a duty an important part of being a Christian. Before Jesus came there was little or no concern for the sick and the poor.
