I didn’t write the following article but it expresses my feelings very well.
I am a Louisiana boy born and raised, a true bayou boy, raised between the bayous Bonfouca and Liberty.

Growing up in Louisiana is a privilege. It’s more than where you’re born. It’s an idea & state of mind imparted at birth. It’s more than loving the smell of marsh mud, crawfish, oysters, shrimp, and loving the Saints. It’s being hospitable, devoted to the outdoors, all the seasons, and each other. We don’t become Louisianians… we’re born that way. Repost if you were born or raised in Louisiana.
Thank You Jesus
